The Malappuram Aided School Teachers Co-operative Society Ltd. No. M 49 has been registered on 1975 November 29 as an employees credit co-operative society under the Kerala co-Op. Societies Act 1969.

The area of operation of the society is Malappuram Revenue District except Tirur Educational Sub District. The teachers of the aided schools coming under this area can become an “A” class member of this society. The head office of the society is situated at down hill Malappuram. We have 5 branches and 4 collection centres. Our branches are located at Malappuram, Tanur, Kolappuram ,Nilambur and Perinthalmanna. And we have collection centres at Manjeri , Kondotty, Valanchery and Wandoor.

This is a class I special grade Co-operative Society having an audit classification “A”. We accept all kinds of deposits on attractive rate of interest, providing different type of loans on reasonable terms and conditions and conducts monthly group deposit schemes.

We implement all the available modern facilities to help our customers. (SMS alert on every transaction, Mobile banking, Web site, video linking with inter-branches, CCTV surveillance on all branches etc.)   The society has implemented any branch banking facility. This helps our customers to deal their transactions from any of our branches. The head office and all the branches are fully computerized.   We have the safe deposit locker facility at our main branch. This society has been working on profit for the last 24 years.
